What is Skinbooster?

Skinbooster is a treatment involving the injection of low cross-linked hyaluronic acid. The product is injected into the middle and deep dermis in order to rehydrate the skin in depth. Skinbooster helps to improve the appearance of the skin and also to boost the production of hyaluronic acid in the deep dermis.

It differs from traditional hyaluronic acid injections in that the latter also change facial volume and expressions. It is much more effective than hyaluronic acid creams due to its concentration and the fact that it is injected deep into the skin.

Indications

This treatment can be performed on different skin types.

On younger skin (35-40 years), it will delay the appearance of wrinkles, moisturize the skin and give it tone and elasticity. It prevents skin aging.

On the more mature skins (45-55 years) which already present wrinkles, the skinbooster will attenuate these last ones and will give a smoother and bright aspect to the skin. Thus, it will gain in quality and will look younger while keeping a natural aspect. The skinbooster can be indicated as a complement to a wrinkle-filling treatment.

Course of the session

Skinbooster is considered a minimally invasive and painless treatment, generally no anesthesia is used. During the session, the doctor will inject the hyaluronic acid using very fine needles or a flexible cannula depending on the area to be treated.

You will be able to resume your activity immediately after the session because this treatment does not leave any traces.

Results

Thanks to the progressive rehydration of the dermis, you will notice improvements in the appearance of the skin from the first session. Once the 3 sessions have been completed, the skin will be much more supple and soft. It will look smoother and plumper and will gain in luminosity and firmness.

Risks and side effects

There is no risk of allergy and no known side effects to date. Slight bruising may appear after the session. They are easy to conceal and disappear very quickly.

Contraindications

Pregnant or breastfeeding women and patients taking certain anti-coagulant treatments are not eligible for skinbooster.
